Finally someone gets it!

I cringe everytime I hear on the local news about the "wonderful benefits" of getting the flu shot and why people should get it. I constantly curse at the TV... "Yeah, right! Stop lying!...all this for Big Pharma." Not like they could hear me, but it feels good knowing I can't be "convinced" otherwise. My family thinks I'm slightly certifiably mentally unstable...MOOOOOOMMM...calm down! I can't calm down because I hate how mainstream media like to shove it down our throats thinking they know what's best for us.

Prevention and strengthening your immune system is the cure, not the flu vaccine.

What you can do:
- Take vitamin C
- Take vitamin D
- Wash your hands frequently with regular soap (none of this antibacterial) and water
- Don't touch your eyes, nose, mouth or face
- Sneeze or cough into your elbow
- Watch your intake of sugar and artificial sweeteners
- Get plenty of sleep
- Eat regularly
- Avoid unnecessary stress or learn to deal with it better
- Exercise daily
- Drink water and plenty of it
